  • Inner Peace Massage will host a school supplies drive during August to mark its 10-year anniversary, as well as its one-year anniversary in its current location.

The school supplies drive will benefit students in Beaufort County, providing supplies to students and classrooms that have a need. A list of suggested items is located at www.innerpeace-massage.com, under the "Special Offer" page.

Donors will receive discounts on massage or facial services. In addition to the discounts, Inner Peace Massage will also offer weekly drawings and giveaways.

  • "Passion, Purpose and Profits," a one-day business workshop led by global educators Jackie Ruka and Joe Chancellor, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Country Club of Hilton Head.

An author and life coach, Ruka is known as "America's Happyologist." Chancellor is an online business consultant and coach.

Cost for the seminar is $997 through Aug. 18, and $1297 after that. The fee includes lunch, evening cocktail hour and networking.

Joann Sandruck, director of music at Cross Schools, has been invited to serve as an adjudicator for Music in the Parks and Festivals of Music.

Music in the Parks and Festivals of Music are organizations that provide year-end assessments and evaluations by master music teachers. Choirs, bands, orchestras, marching bands and ensembles in grades K-12 from all over the U.S. and Canada participate in the festivals.

In this role, Sandruck will be traveling to Dollywood, Tampa and Charlotte, among other cities.

Kieran Staunton and John Jacobs have joined the Berkeley Hall Club team as assistant golf professionals.

Staunton, a native of Surrey, England, is a Class A member of the PGA and has played on the European Tour, European Challenge Tour and Web.com Tour. He joins Berkeley Hall following his time coaching at the International Jr. Golf Academy (IJGA) in Bluffton.

Jacobs, originally from Jacksonville, Ill., is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Mississippi State University. His prior golf experience includes internships at The Creek Club on Long Island and the Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst.
