Munjid Yousif Debbie Everett
The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island has named Munjid Yousif as executive chef and director of culinary services and Debbie Everett as life enrichment director.
Chef Yousif graduated from the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts in London and received hotel management training in Switzerland. With experience that includes hotels, restaurants, resorts, country clubs and in-flight services, Yousif's cuisine reflects a variety of cultures.
Everett will help develop programs and events, inside and outside the residence, especially designed to help residents stay informed, interact with others and keep their brains active.
Prior to joining The Bayshore, Everett served as both activity assistant and Activity director at Bloom at Belfair in South Carolina. She also served as activities director at Morningside of Beaufort Assisted Living.
She has achieved both first and second edition Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) certification.

Lindsay H. Edwards has been named chairman of the Education Foundation of the Hilton Head Area Homebuilders Association, a volunteer position.
Edwards is an active member of the association through her employer, Pella Windows and Doors. She is passionate about the non-profit organization and seeks to increase awareness of the Foundation throughout the Lowcountry.
The Hilton Head Home Builders Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization administered by the Hilton Head Area HBA, an association of business professionals that represent, promote and support excellence in the home building industry.
The Education Foundation was formed to support and raise funds for continuing education throughout Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton Counties.
The Education Foundation raised enough funds to provide 10 $3,500 scholarships to deserving high school students in the 2016-2017 school year.

Joe Nahman, founder of RMC Resort Management on Hilton Head Island, has been awarded the CARE Pinnacle Award for lifetime achievement.
The award, presented by the Coop-erative Association of Resort Exchangers (CARE), honors an individual who has attained the pinnacle of excellence in the vacation industry as measured by their achievements as well as their positive impact on the direction and standards of the industry and their local community.
The award is presented once every two years. Nahman received his award at the 64th CARE conference held recently in Virginia Beach.
Bailey Schorr and Leslie Vargas-Prada have joined the staff at Community Foundation of the Lowcountry.
Schorr, of Bel Air, Md., will serve as program associate, assisting with grant management and administration, serving as a liaison to several fund advisory committees and providing support for special projects.
He is a recent graduate of University of South Carolina Beaufort, where he majored in psychology and minored in French. While a student, Schorr and a classmate built and maintained a hydroponic garden. Vegetables grown were donated to the Jasper County Boys & Girls Club and used in a cooking class for children.
Vargas-Prada recently moved to the Lowcountry from the Atlanta area.
In her new position as donor services liaison, she will serve as a liaison between the Community Foundation and select donors, handle aspects of donor relationship management and engagement, undertake outreach efforts with constituent groups and assist with various donor and development committees.
Her professional background includes more than 20 years of administrative management and client relationship experience, primarily in the financial industries. Most recently she was employed with VRA Partners, an investment banking firm in Atlanta, and prior to that worked with The Robinson-Humphrey Company.
Vargas-Prada received a B.S. degree in business administration from Presbyterian College in Clinton.
