• Business Expo 2020 will be held Feb. 1 beginning at 10 a.m. at Campbell Chapel AME Church, 25 Boundary St. in Bluffton.
The event is presented by the Beaufort District Young Adult Ministry.
The expo will focus on education through literature, savings through couponing, as well as health and wellness topics. Vendor tables will be available for any company, nonprofit organization or individual wishing to promote a business or services.
Entry to the event is free for attendees. Cost for vendors is $20, or free for nonprofits.

Dr. Sarah Cazorla has joined the practice of Pinnacle Plastic Surgery. She will primarily be seeing patients at the Beaufort office, 1096 Ribaut Road.
Along with plastic and reconstructive surgery, she will be working with dermatology provider Jo Ann Cullen, NP to provide care for skin cancer patients.
Dr. Cazorla has been in practice since 2011. She completed her plastic surgery fellowship training program at the University of Virginia, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. During her time there, she served as chief resident.

• A presentation on the bidding process for Town of Bluffton projects and contracts will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Jan. 29 at Town Council Chambers, 20 Bridge St.
The event is the result of a partnership between the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Bluffton, and the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association.
The event is intended for members of those organizations interested in learning about the process and procedures for bidding on contracts, submitting an RFP (request for proposal) or IBF, and the Town's acquisition procedures.
Felicia Roth, Town of Bluffton purchasing and contract administrator, will go through a PowerPoint presentation on how everything works with the bidding process and the Town's acquisition procedures.
Town staff will walk through the process of finding the written procedures on their website and provide a primer on the different types of acquisition.

Robert Cooksey and Luanne Cocks have expanded their business, New To You, into a new location in Sheridan Park, at 49 Pennington Drive, Suite D in Bluffton.
They have both been interior designers for the past 40-plus years.
The shop offers a new perspective on design. Cooksey and Cocks acquire classic and unique pieces of furniture and accessories by leading manufacturers, and have them renewed to be in the current design color palette of finishes and fabrics.
The showroom will be able to display more of the renewed pieces and gallery of artworks in various price points.

• Joanne Nattrass has joined the Pregnancy Center & Clinic of the Lowcountry as the new executive director.
Her extensive background includes a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as her most recent employment as the executive director of a large, faith-based nonprofit organization.
Nattrass has many years of experience in social services and health care that are relative to her new position.
The mission of the Pregnancy Center & Clinic is to provide critical prenatal care to all women in need at both the Hilton Head office and the Mobile Unit, which operates in Bluffton and Okatie. Services provided at no cost include pregnancy testing and care through 16 weeks, including ultrasounds and prenatal vitamins. Referrals to community resources along with counseling and pregnancy-related classes help clients bring healthy babies into the world. • Nathan Thomas, a master electrician, has joined the team at LED Lowcountry.
Thomas's expertise expands the company's services to include installation and maintenance of electrical equipment. He will manage LED installation crews and expand electrical service work capability.
