Kristen Clark, PA-C has joined the practice of Dr. Tom Bundy and Hilton Head Dermatology.
Clark graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science in 2009.
She earned her Master's of Science in physicians assistant studies at South University in March 2017.
Clark is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants, the South Carolina Academy of Physicians Assistants and the Society of Derm-atology Physician Assistants.
She specializes in skin cancer prevention and treatment, as well as acne, psoriasis and general dermatology.
In her free time, Clark participates in medical missions.

Long-time Savannah resident John R. Salandi has joined Optim Surgery Center as its new administrator.
In his new role, Salandi will manage Optim's five-suite surgery center, operations, and its staff.
Salandi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Florida State University and a Master of Health Administration and Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
He developed his career in the healthcare industry as the surgical services business operations manager, neuroscience service line director, strategic planning and business development director at hospitals across Georgia, and most recently as the CEO of a long-term-acute-care hospital in Savannah.
Optim Surgery Center's surgeon sub-specialties include: sports medicine; total joint replacement; Mako robotic arm-assisted partial and total knee replacement; interventional pain management; spine (neck and back); foot and ankle; hand, wrist, and elbow; and general and pediatric orthopedics.

- Hopeful Horizons and the Medical University of South Carolina will be hosting a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Training from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 10-14 at Coastal Empire Mental Health, 1050 Ribaut Road in Beaufort.
Agencies who serve victims of sexual assault or intimate partner violence, or those who investigate or prosecute cases of sexual assault or intimate partner violence are highly encouraged to attend, such as medical professionals, law enforcement, solicitors, etc.
Participants can register for the training at www.peedeeahec.net. There is no registration fee for the course, but attendance is required for all five sessions.
SANEs are trained medical professionals who perform the Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE kit) to collect evidence from a victim of sexual assault.
SARTs are teams of agencies and non-profits who collaborate together on cases of sexual assault for better case outcomes and to ensure that victims get all of the services they need.
