  • Beaufort Memorial Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists recently extended its office hours and will offer appointments until 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings and will open early on Wednesday mornings, seeing patients starting at 7 a.m.

Evening and early morning appointments are currently being scheduled with board-certified OB-GYN Dr. Soldrea Thompson, who joined Beaufort Memorial earlier this year after several years in practice at the Cleveland Clinic's Ashtabula County Medical Center.

Beaufort Memorial Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists is located in Suite 101 at 7 Arley Way, as part of the Beaufort Memorial Bluffton Medical Services complex at Westbury Park.

In addition to Dr. Thompson, the practice is staffed by Beaufort Memorial board-certified OB-GYN specialists Dr. Christopher Benson, Dr. Gregory Miller, and Dr. Marlena Masavage, as well as certified nurse midwife Maureen Chapman.

The physicians deliver babies at the Beaufort Memorial Collins Birthing Center and are trained in minimally invasive surgery.

The practice also has an office in Suite 210 of Beaufort Medical Plaza at 989 Ribaut Road, where extended hours are also offered. To schedule an appointment with one of the health care providers in either Bluffton or Beaufort, call 843-522-7820.

Classes are 10 a.m. to noon at St. Andrew's Hall, 222 Pinckney Colony Road in Bluffton, and 2 to 4 p.m. at Memory Matters, 117 William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head Island.
