New pastor joins Unitarian congregation

Jim Morrison has been named the new Pastoral Minister at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry (UUCL).

Morrison is originally from West Virginia and graduated with honors from Alderson Broaddus University. He has an extensive history of going out of his way to support his congregation and community, from helping to establish free medical clinics in New York to traveling to Russia for a theological education exchange.

Morrison received the singular honor of being given the John and Cora Sparrow President's Award at the biennial Convention of American Baptist Churches in 1987.

UUCL meets at 10 a.m. Sundays at 110 Malphrus Road in Bluffton. Childcare is provided.
