Sun on the Street

With this feature, we seek to capture a glimpse of what you and your neighbors have to say about a variety of topics, issues, events - and just plain fun questions.

You might find us anywhere around Bluffton with a camera and note pad, asking simple questions and looking for thoughtful answers. If we find you, we hope you will want to participate.

For this February issue, while love seems to be in the air, at the Okatie Ale House, we asked: "What makes you feel loved?"

Tim O'Gorman, Bluffton: "When customers appreciate all the work that we do at the Okatie Ale House. It's more rewarding than anything else."

Stephanie Boatwright, Columbia: "Spending time with my family. I just came through breast cancer, so that's put a new light on things."

Dave Davis, Bluffton: "Being in the presence of my family, whether it's in person, on the phone or Facetime. And being around my friends and associates and having their respect."

Tim Hales, Cleveland, Ohio: "The beautiful smile of my wife."

Ellen Hart, Bluffton: "When I can make people smile. And when people smile because I've been kind to them."
