The RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing Golf Tournament was in search of two tasty cookie recipes to serve at the 51st annual RBC Heritage, so it launched its inaugural Plaid Nation Cookie Contest. After 25 cookie recipes were collected, finalists were narrowed down to the top six.

A competitive live bake off was held March 27 in the new USCB Hilton Head Island campus hospitality center and test kitchen. Two "hole-in-one" cookies were named the official cookies of the 2019 RBC Heritage.

The winning cookies are "Harbour Town's Dye-abolical Delights," baked by Tina Daley of Hilton Head Island; and "Pockets Full of Sunshine's Peanut Butter Putters," baked by Laurin Rivers and team.

Both cookies will be served at the eight concession stands located on the course. Stands are fully staffed by volunteers from local civic or non-profit organizations. All money raised from cookie sales will benefit their respective organizations.

As winners, Daley and Rivers both received a champion package, including tickets to the tournament and plaid swag, in addition to bragging rights.
