Bluffton Town Council is seeking qualified applicants for appointment to its boards, commissions and committees.

The most immediate need for new appointees exists on the Beautification Committee, Board of Zoning Appeals, Historic Preservation Commission, the Law Enforcement Citizens Advisory Committee, Municipal Elections Commission and Planning Commission.

The Beautification Committee and the Board of Zoning Appeals each have one vacancy for a Town property owner.

The Historic Preservation Commission has two vacancies for a property owner or business owner in the Historic District.

The Municipal Elections Commission has one vacancy for a Town resident who is a registered voter eligible to vote in Town of Bluffton elections.

The Planning Commission has two vacancies for a town resident or property owner who has knowledge of, or experience in, urban planning and growth management issues.

The Law Enforcement Citizens Advisory Committee has vacancies for two Town of Bluffton business owners and seven residents within the boundaries of the Town of Bluffton Growth Framework Map. For access to the map, call Town Hall at 843-706-4500.

The Town welcomes applications for all boards, committees and commissions regardless of current vacancies. Applications are kept on file for two years as vacancies occur throughout the year.
