Town Council is seeking volunteers for appointment to the Town of Bluffton Law Enforcement Advisory Committee.
The establishment of this committee is a goal detailed in the Bluffton Police Department Strategic Plan for 2019-2022. This plan was formally adopted by Town Council during its July 12, 2019, meeting.
“As an organization dedicated to community-oriented policing, the public whom we serve is our partner in public safety,” said Chief Chris Chapmond. “This committee is another venue to create a dialogue as we, together, create solutions for our community.”
The committee will facilitate the free flow of ideas and discussions to improve the safety of all citizens and visitors.
The committee will meet at least once a quarter, or as needed throughout the year.
To find out more about this committee, contact Chief Chapmond at 843-706-4550.
