Lean Ensemble Theater will hold open auditions for the five shows in its upcoming 2019-2020 season from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 20 at Lean’s office, 32 Office Park Road, Suite 102 on Hilton Head Island.

The five shows are: “The Humans,” directed by Chip Egan, running Oct. 16-27; “Every Brilliant Thing,” directed by Maegan Azar, running Dec. 11-22; “The Christians,” directed by Jay Briggs, running Jan. 22-Feb. 2, 2020; “Cry It Out,” directed by Amanda Sox, running March 18-29, 2020; and “Death of a Streetcar Named Virginia Woolf,” directed by Blake White, running April 23-May 3, 2020.

Four of the directors will be present in the room.

Auditions are open to Equity and non-Equity performers of all ages, ethnicities, gender identities and abilities. Schedule appointments online by submitting headshot and resume to casting@leanensemble.org.

Those auditioning should prepare a 90-second monologue and bring a recent headshot and resume. An Equity monitor will not be provided. Equity members should bring their membership card to the audition.

Some roles have been cast, but replacements are being auditioned.
