As residents of Bluffton and surrounding areas, we are spoiled with the number of great communities that have been and are being built in the area. It’s worth highlighting some of our local premier communities.
We all know about Sun City Hilton Head. What a fabulous community it is. Pulte Homes really outdid itself in planning the community center, floor plans, types of housing and layout of all the amenities. There is nothing more to want when you make Sun City your home.

One up and coming community that’s creating a huge buzz, especially among active adults, is Latitude Margaritaville. This community is conveniently located off of Hwy 278, just outside of Bluffton.
Minto, the builder for this community, designed the grounds and house plans to cater to the 55-and-better age group. The idea is that life should be enjoyed to its fullest.
The community offers low-cost utilities, thanks to the eco-friendly “green” technologies utilized in building the houses, and amenities designed to cater to the residents for a complete upscale experience. Homes start in the mid $200’s. Building is underway, so if you are remotely curious about Latitude Margaritaville, plan a visit to see this incredible new community.
Some other wonderful communities that are on buyers’ radar in Bluffton and surrounding communities are Cypress Ridge at Mill Creek by D.R. Horton, Hampton Lake by K. Hovnanian Homes, and Shadow Moss and Seagrass Station by Pulte Homes.
The majority of these homes start in the mid $200’s. The communities are award-winning and offer a much sought-after ease of living, from beautiful grounds with amenities to show-stopping homes that capture the spirit of elegant living.
If you are looking to purchase a home in the Bluffton area, it is crucial that you first get pre-qualified for a mortgage. This shows the realtor and-or builder that your file has been underwritten and your loan is a go.
Once that is done, all you’re waiting on is the address to put on the loan docs.
