Pure Barre of Bluffton is under new ownership. Annamaria Gould is the new owner of the fitness studio in Belfair Towne Center in Bluffton.
Pure Barre offers a full-body workout inspired by the barre technique. The method focuses on small, isometric movements that create a high intensity, low impact workout.
Gould has previously worked as an instructor and front-desk staff.

• The Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and Pinnacle Plastic Surgery will host an evening of networking from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 12 at Pinnacle, 7 Mallett Way Bluffton.
The event will offer a variety of refreshments, a giveaway door prize, and a brief presentation by Dr. Audrey Klenke, the only female plastic surgeon in Beaufort County, along with a tour of the branch location.
Dr. Klenke and her staff will share their strategy and mindset driving the mission behind their methods and practices. Guests will also have the chance to meet the skilled dermatology providers, medical aestheticians and certified permanent make-up artists.
The event is free for members of the Greater Bluffton Chamber, and $10 for non-members, which includes two drink tickets.
Brandon Brown and Travers Davis have joined Hilton Head Insurance and Brokerage.
Brown moved to Hilton Head in the summer of 2018 with his wife, Christie. He grew up in Birmingham, Ala., and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2010.
Previously, he worked for State Farm in Georgia and Protective Life Insurance in Alabama. He is a member of the Bluffton Chamber of Young Professional’s leadership team, as well as an ambassador for the Home Builders Association.
Davis is a Lowcountry native. He graduated from Hilton Head Christian Academy and attended the College of Charleston, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.
Throughout his time in college, Davis was a part of his family’s local outdoor recreation retail store. Upon college graduation, he went directly into the insurance business as a provider of outdoor recreation insurance nationally, in addition to providing insurance products locally.
He has been in the insurance business through internships and as a licensed agent for 10 years.
