- Kevin Sevier State Farm Agency will celebrate its 10-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. May 16 at its new office, 301 Buckwalter Place Blvd. in Bluffton.
The firm is a full-service insurance agency with six licensed agents in addition to Sevier.
The event is open to the public. The ribbon cutting is provided by the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.
- J. Banks Design Group recently added several new staff members to its commercial support department.
Amanda Ives, Allied ASID, was named design support manager of the both the residential and commercial support teams. Previously, Ives managed the residential support staff, where she assisted with project management and scheduling for the firm’s hospitality projects.
John Forrestall has joined the commercial team as CAD Specialist. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, working closely with both residential and commercial clients.
He will work to produce construction drawing sets, floor plans, 3D furniture models and such for clients.
Whitney Royer, Allied ASID, has joined the commercial team as staff designer. She holds a B.S. in interior design from Georgia Southern University.
Royer has been working in the interior design industry for four years and she will assist with the firm’s hospitality and resort projects from start to completion.
Blake Pettite has joined the staff as commercial design assistant. In his role, he will work closely with the design staff in all facets of the project. Pettite previously worked for Lowe’s Home Improvement and for Circa Lighting. He is a graduate of East Carolina University, with a B.S. in interior design.
