Tom Logue has been named director of golf at the Moss Creek Club.

He is a Class A member of the PGA with 18 years of experience and has been with the club since 2008. Prior to his promotion, Logue was head golf professional, and prior to that was the first assistant.

He holds an Associate of Arts degree in golf complex operations and management, with an emphasis in golf management from the Golf Academy of the South in Orlando, Fla., and an associate of science in criminal justice technology from the University of Akron.

Logue’s previous experience includes Belfair in Bluffton; Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio; Admiral’s Cove in Jupiter, Fla.; and Avon Oaks Country Club in Avon, Ohio.

He just completed his eighth year serving as tournament director for the Hilton Head Island chapter of the Carolinas PGA and was selected by his peers in that organization as the 2012 and 2017 Golf Professional of the Year.

Logue lives in Bluffton with his wife, Lindsey, their two sons, Brody and Braxton.

Steve French has joined the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa as director of sales and marketing.

French previously led operational teams at the former Hyatt Hilton Head and Marriott Hilton Head years ago. In total, he has more than 30 years of hotel experience across several disciplines, including banquet operations, events and sales.

During the past 10 years in sales leadership, French has held roles overseeing regional sales teams, account management teams and, most recently, property sales teams. He recently celebrated his 20-year anniversary with Marriott International and was most recently the director of group sales of Washington Marriott Wardman Park.

French began his hospitality career in 1988 in Blacksburg, Va., while obtaining his bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Virginia Tech. He has held positions at 12 different hotels in various markets, including resorts and convention hotels.

He holds a CASE designation with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and was an active member of Marriott’s Washington, D.C., Business Council.

In his new role, French is responsible for total revenue and yield strategies, implementation and results of room revenue, group food and beverage, and social catering events.

Lisa Evans has joined Charter One Realty at its Promenade office located in Bluffton.

Evans has worked in the real estate industry for most of her career. She has consistently been a top producing agent in the area, closing more than $100 million in sales. Her focus has been on the luxury home market, working primarily with second home owners, retirees, and Baby Boomers.

Ginette Lee has joined Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head Island as its new training and development manager.

She is responsible for conducting, maintaining, creating and implementing training programs for members and staff.

Previously, Lee held multiple positions in Caraustar Industries in the Upstate, including training and development of 13 newly acquired facilities across the country. She also handled human resources for the company, and was responsible for hiring, benefits and employee relations.

Michael Frazier Michael Hesch

Michael Frazier has been promoted to general manager, and Michael Hesch has been promoted to field operations manager, filling the role vacated by Frazier.

Frazier will oversee and be responsible for the daily workings of the company as well as overseeing and managing the financial responsibilities, human resources, client satisfaction, and all employee relations of the company.

Frazier has been with Covert Aire for more than a year and has more than a decade of experience in the HVAC industry.

Hesch’s new responsibilities will include all the company’s work that takes place in the public. He will manage the employees of the service, maintenance and installation departments for all residential and commercial clients and the company’s dispatcher.

Hesch has been with Covert Aire for more than a year and has decades of experience in HVAC/R, both at a contractor level and also working in the wholesale market.
