Hennessey accepted the award at the 2020 SEC awards banquet in North Carolina.

Steve Anderson has joined LED Lowcountry as head of its marketing and communications department.
Anderson’s focus is working with property managers and gated community management to implement LED lighting conversion.
Anderson has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and residential property management in South Carolina and Georgia. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston with degrees in communications and business.
In addition to his work with property associations, he will be assisting LED Lowcountry with its use of marketing technology.

Josh Goodman recently joined Chris Hervochon, CPA, CVA LLC as a staff accountant, providing outsourced accounting and tax preparation for small businesses and individuals.

Jim McGuffey, a Bluffton resident and security expert, will be traveling to Philadelphia in April to conduct a security workshop for church leaders hosted by Media Presbyterian Church in Media, Pa.
McGuffey had conducted a similar security event hosted by the SE Philadelphia Lutheran Synod 10 years prior and has done similar security workshops for places of worship, hosted at the Bluffton Police Department.
McGuffey has also conducted no-cost, on-site risk assessments for various churches in the Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and Beaufort areas, as well as Jackson, Miss., and the Chicago area, and in foreign countries.
McGuffey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice and a Master’s Degree in management, and is one of 250 security professionals worldwide to earn and maintain all three ASIS International board certifications in security management, physical security and investigations that are accredited by Department of Homeland Security, International Standards Organization and American National Standards Act.
McGuffey has served in military, law enforcement and private security and has taught 55 anti-terrorism courses as a private security contractor for Department of State in the Middle East, Africa, Mexico, Latin America and South America. He has 40 years of security management experience.
