Brad Buckler, M.D. has been named the Physician-in-Chief for the Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah.
Buckler is a practicing neonatologist and corporate medical director for MEDNAX, Inc./Pediatrix Medical Group of Georgia.
Buckler is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed his pediatric residency and a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia Children’s Medical Center.
He has practiced in Memorial’s Level III neonatal intensive care nursery since July 2010. Buckler serves as the medical director for the neonatal transport services and is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at both the Medical College of Georgia and Mercer University School of Medicine – Savannah Campus.
He is active in the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Section of Perinatal Pediatrics.

Aunt Laurie’s of Bluffton was one of 11 national winners receiving the Outstanding Community Impact Business Award, presented by SCORE, mentors to America’s small businesses.
Winners were honored at the ninth annual SCORE Awards Gala Sept. 14 at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in McLean, Va.
This year’s SCORE Award recipients were chosen based on their business success, positive community impact and strong relationship with their SCORE mentor.

Isaac McBroom has joined the staff of Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) as director of development.
His responsibilities will include the scheduling and coordination of all PTR certification workshops in the USA, and ensuring that workshops are held in all 50 states each year.
McBroom began coaching as a teenager. As a young man, he was the director of tennis for his hometown’s Youth Athletic Association.
In 2001, he graduated with a degree in Health Fitness from Gustavus Adolphus College, where he was captain of the men’s tennis team. After graduation, he moved to San Diego, Calif., where he co-founded an academy at the Barnes Tennis Center.
In 2013, he began working with the Junior Performance Programs for Life Time Fitness and later was was named National Coach’s Education Lead.
In 2016, he became a PTR clinician to deliver coach education, and in 2017, was named PTR Member of the Year for Minnesota and earned PTR Master of Tennis – Performance.

- Kathy Garino and Phillip Kent have joined Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head Island (HHIMLS).
As the accounting manager, Garino is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, state and vendor reporting, annual audits, inventory, and overall general bookkeeping.
Most recently employed as an office manager for a public attorney, Garino and her family moved to Hilton Head Island from the Atlanta area. They have three sons, the oldest in college.
Kent joined HHIMLS as a member services associate. He is responsible for providing support on all HHIMLS technology-based products, maintaining relationships with MLS members, assisting new members, maintaining the database, and providing technical assistance.
Kent has a keen understanding of internet technology. He previously worked as a business development company associate and before that, at a digital marketing firm.
Kent moved to Hilton Head Island to work with HHIMLS. He has several certifications in Google Adwords and has completed numerous continuing education courses in online advertising, e-commerce, and marketing in the digital age.
