Dean Bushey

Dean Bushey, Ph.D. has joined the University of South Carolina Beaufort to oversee development of the university’s new cyber security program.

Bushey has more than 30 years of business, academic and military leadership experience in transportation and mobility, as a computer scientist, educator, commercial pilot and autonomous and connected systems expert.

At USCB, he teaches programming and is the project coordinator for the upcoming cyber defense concentration in the Computer Science major, which will kick off in Fall semester 2021. Courses in cyber security also will be offered through Technical College of the Lowcountry.

The course work, which will be taught at a coming cyber security lab in Beaufort, aims to prepare local students, residents and military personnel for opportunities in the expanding and lucrative field of cyber security.

Case McRee has joined Coastal Carolina CBD & Wellness as sales manager.

McRee earned a Master of Science degree in business management from Full Sail University, and a dispensary management certification from Learn Sativa University.

Sean Custer

Sean Custer has joined Curry Printing and FastSigns as a sign and print consultant.

Custer has 30 years’ experience in the print, graphics and sign industry. He was the owner of A Southern Sign and Awning Company in Bluffton from 2006 to 2015. He has served a number of years as a volunteer coach.

Curry Printing and FastSigns offer printing, marketing, mailing and sign-making for business, organizations and personal applications.

 

 

 

 

 

Kimberly Sullivan

Kimberly Sullivan has joined Boy & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry as area director of resource development.

Sullivan brings to the Clubs a strong background and experience in resource development, marketing, grant writing, social media and public relations. Some of her past work experiences include: director of digital marketing and PR for The Island News and Lowcountry Weekly, director of sales and marketing for WSCG TV/Lowcountry 34 Media, assistant director for operations and content for ETV Lowcountry, and owner of Brush Across America Destination Painting Tours.

In addition, Sullivan has been a teacher in several school districts including the Jasper County School District.

She will be responsible for planning and executing the resource develop and marketing strategies for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Beaufort County and Jasper County.
