Registration is now open for the 15th annual Cupid’s Arrow Golf Classic to benefit the John A. (Jack) Kolbush Foundation Inc. The event will be held Nov. 10 at Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, beginning with registration at 9 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

A reception and award ceremony will be held immediately following play.

Jack Kolbush was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma at the age of 3. Despite all that he experienced throughout two years of aggressive treatment, Jack was always smiling with his stuffed dog Cupid in tow.

The golf event was begun by a group of friends as a fundraiser in 2005 to help with medical expenses for the family while Jack was in treatment. Jack died the following year.

The event continues in his memory and benefits other children and their families in the Lowcountry and Coastal Empire dealing with cancer and blood disorders.

Registration is $150 per golfer, which includes the awards reception. Non-golfers may attend the reception for $50 each.
