For the second consecutive year, Sun City Hilton Head has been named the best active adult community in the country by 55 Places.com. The award is based on amenities, social activities, prime location and reasonably priced homes.
Additionally, the community was the No. 1 best selling community for July, as determined by sales through 55Places.com, a comprehensive site for adult community information.
Sun City residents, staff and board along with Pulte sales employees enjoyed a celebratory reception July 31 at the Lakehouse. George Kolar, representative for 55Places.com, presented an award plaque to Jaymie Dimbath, Pulte’s vice president for sales.
The awards ceremony was followed by refreshments and a chance for people to be interviewed about their experiences in the community.
Typical of the responses from Sun City residents is that moving here was the best thing they ever did, and they just wish they had done it sooner.
