With this feature, we seek to capture a glimpse of what your neighbors have to say about a variety of topics, issues, events – and just plain fun questions.
You might find us anywhere around Bluffton with a camera and note pad, asking simple questions and looking for thoughtful answers. If we find you, we hope you will want to participate.
Our question celebrates the many fall activities that we enjoy once the weather cools a bit: “What is the best fall event or activity in our community?”
Here’s how some of our neighbors answered.
Shellie West, Bluffton: “I can’t choose just one. They are all awesome. Bluffton is the event capital of the Lowcountry.”
Carl Kratz, Bluffton: “My favorite thing is oysters, and oysters and beer is perfect, so any oyster event is good for me.”
Theresa Jackson, Beaufort: “The Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival. I love that it’s a big event, with something for everyone. Starting with Chalk the Walk, it gives everyone a chance to participate.”
Linda Klingman, Bluffton: “I’d have to say the Hilton Head Shrimp Festival – because I love shrimp!”
Carl Woodard, Bluffton: “We’re new to the area, and we are looking forward to the Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival, because we love the arts and we love seafood, and the event intrigues us.”
