Registration opens for Senior Softball fall season

Registration is underway for the Senior Softball Beaufort Fall 2026 season, with league officials inviting players age 55 and older to take part in the upcoming schedule.

The fall season is scheduled to begin Sept. 16 at Barker Field on Hilton Head Island. The league welcomes players of all experience levels, from longtime softball veterans to those returning to the game after several years away.

To help prepare for the season, player evaluations will be held on three dates: Wednesday, Aug. 5; Saturday, Aug. 8; and Wednesday, Aug. 12. League organizers use the evaluations as part of the process for organizing teams before the start of league play.

Senior Softball Beaufort provides organized recreational softball for older adults in Beaufort County and the surrounding area. According to league information, the program is designed to give participants an opportunity to stay physically active while enjoying friendly competition and the social connections that come from playing on a team.

League officials encourage eligible players, regardless of previous experience, to consider joining for the fall season. Returning players and newcomers are welcome.
