The Beaufort County School District will host its annual Back-to-School Expo on July 18 in Bluffton to help students and families prepare for the 2026-27 school year.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tanger 1, located at 1270 Fording Island Road.
The school district is partnering with presenting sponsor Tanger and other community organizations for the event.
The expo is designed to connect families with school and community resources before the start of the academic year. Representatives from the district’s 32 schools, along with local businesses, civic groups and community partners, are expected to participate.
Free shuttle service will be available between Tanger 1 and Tanger 2, where activities will also take place.
Chief Student Services Officer Dr. Chad Cox said the event is intended to help families access resources ahead of the new school year.
“This event ensures our students and families have access to the tools, resources and connections they need for a successful start to the school year,” Cox said.
Students and families attending the expo will have access to information booths from Beaufort County School District schools and departments, along with opportunities to connect with community, health and education partners.
Free school supplies and boxed lunches will be available while supplies last. The event will also include door prizes and giveaways.
Families are encouraged to pre-register using the QR code included on event materials.
